The Proforce V2 from UST emerged on the scene and has been an extremely popular shaft, especially on the PGA Tour, since. Proforce V2 is designed for players seeking a flatter, more penetrating ball flight. The firm tip section produces a medium launch condition and increased ball speed. The shaft is known for its extremely low torque readings putting stability, consistency, and accuracy a premium.
The Proforce V2 definitely stands out in a crowd… you can easily recognize it on TV by the bright yellow and black. It’s a sharp looking shaft. Two of the players currently using the shaft include Rod Pampling and Davis Love III. Both have been a long-time user of the shaft with rave reviews.
UST claims the Proforce Tip Technology is the heart and soul of the shaft. The company engineers spent countless hours developing a proprietary method that earned desired launch angles and spin rates. Pros/Positives-
The Proforce V2 has unparalled stability and control. This is its strength and they’ve apparently passed the test as most all PGA tour players lay claim to control and consistency when playing with the shaft.
Cons/Negatives-
The only thing I could scrounge up negative about the shaft is it tends to feel “boardy” to some players.
Overall Rating-

Love this shaft so much, I put it on my 3 wood and my 2 hybrid ( the hybrid version of course). I can’t play this anything else anymore. You will increase your distance with this one just because you won’t be afraid to lose it left or right. The most accurate shaft I’ve played and the feel is perfect for me!
First tried a V2 in a hybrid (Reg 86gr) loved the shaft hated the head, so took out the head and put in a TM Rescue head 17º. A perfect combination!! Have done the same with my other 2 hybrids (19º and 22º). The feel is excellent, flight is straight down the middle, excellent shaft and have added plenty of distance.
My pro golf teached tried them last week – he hit 3 balls and was grinning from ear to ear!! He was totally amazed. Have also installed it in my 5 wood and it really goes some. Am now looking to install one in my driver – should have done it months ago!!
By the way I would say the flexes are about half a flex strong. My driver swing speed is around 99 – 102 and I’m going to install the Reg flex. It works very well in my 5 wood and hybrids.
Would highly recommend to many people. These shafts are NOT expensive and perform SOOOOOOOOO well
