Ping G10 Driver Review

Ping G10 Overview/Technology-

The Ping G10 driver is coined as the Power of 10 for good reason. The G10 is created in a "virtual" world driven by design excellence. Ping uses Utilizing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and the latest in computer software to create a driver that offers performance.

Such things as Moment of Inertia (MOI) and Center of Gravity (CG), crown structure and face thickness are carefully evaluated and studied in a virtual setting before a blueprint is ever put into motion. Once the strategic factors are taken to the nth degree and they meet engineer expectations, the G10 is put into motion - a driver is built that maximizes energy transfer and increases ball speed like no other. And did we mention this is done using a Cray Supercomputer?

Check this video out. It's a little difficult to hear but not bad review. (not a bad swing too:)-

Pros/Positives-

The driver has a very high MOI and deep CG that provides excellent power for every skill level. Great shaft option with the TFC 129d. Very nice sounding driver with great distance and workability. Two options of the driver, the G10 and G10 Draw provide accessibility for levels of golfers.

Cons/Negatives-

None really. This driver provides you all the technology you need off the tee. The Ping engineers really did a great job with this one.

Actual Player Feedback-

" I tried the G10 and I was extremely surprised. The sound is just the way a driver should sound - sweet & solid"

"Accuracy - Lethal. Distance - Holy Sh*t, this thing was huge"

"Long and straight off the tee with a nice solid feel/sound at impact"

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!"

Overall Review Rating-

This driver will continue to be a top-seller for Ping. They offer a nice add-on using the TFC 129d shaft. But if you don't like the high torque the TFC 129d provides, they also offer the Grafalloy ProLaunch Red or the V2 High Launch 65... or you can use your own shaft. Either way though, you will not be disappointed with the Ping G10 driver. To return to Golf Gear Select Home.
